What to do when your wine cellar AC stops working.

*Try to open the cellar door as little as possible to keep as much conditioned air inside the cellar as possible.*

The first thing to do when your AC stops working is to check the power source.

Is it still plugged in?

Is the breaker tripped? If so try to reset the breaker. It may be located near the power source, the main breaker panel or on a sub panel. If it keeps tripping then you have a short in the electrical system and will need to have a technician come service it.

If that doesn’t solve the problem and your cooling unit is powered on but the room is not staying at the proper temperature then you will need to have a technician come diagnose the problem. It may be best to turn it off at this point to minimize further damage.

Your system might need to be recharged or maybe a fan needs to be replaced. Our technicians will be able to diagnose the problem quickly.

We understand the importance of your wine collection so Emergency Service is available.

Give us a call and we can help you 24/7 and ask us about our annual wine cellar maintenance plan so this doesn’t happen again.
